The Human Voice
In the Human Voice Series we shall present major and well-known vocal works, such as Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice, two odes for St. Cecilia's Day, one by Handel, one by Purcell and Beethovens Mass. Alongside we shall present works that are less frequently played, e. g. the Concerto for Coloratura Soprano by Russian composer Reinhold Glière, Les Nuits d'Ete by Hector Berlioz, Vivaldi's "Laudate Pueri", Handel's "Gloria", etc. Musical works thematically or stylistically tied to these will complement the programs of the individual concerts. This series will feature first class soloists and choirs from Israel and abroad.
